MARK Hughes has confirmed that R’s captain Ji-Sung Park is ‘very unlikely to feature’ in Sunday’s live Sky Sports Super Sunday clash against Reading at Loftus Road.
The former Manchester United man missed last weekend’s defeat at Arsenal with a knee problem and is set to miss out again for the visit of the Royals.
Meanwhile, Armand Traore (leg) is also a doubt, while Hughes will check on Bobby Zamora after the striker was forced to have injections in his hip this week.
Fabio da Silva is still out with a hamstring complaint, while Andy Johnson remains sidelined after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury earlier this season.
“Ji hasn’t trained this week,” Hughes confirmed to www.qpr.co.uk.
“He’s an obvious doubt for the weekend unfortunately. We’ll see how he is tomorrow, but at this moment in time he’s very unlikely to take part at the weekend.
“There’s a little bit of a doubt on Armand Traore, as well. Bobby Zamora has had a couple of injections into his hip. He trained today, but we’ve got to make sure that there’s no reaction to that tomorrow.
“Hopefully he’ll be available, but he’s still a bit stiff. We’ll have to wait and see.”
