QPR UNDER-18S came from behind to continue their remarkable winning streak with a 3-1 victory at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Goals from Aaron Mitchell, Connor Hubble – his fourth in as many games – and Peter Skapetis fired the R’s to an 11th straight success.
Victory over Town cements Rangers’ place at the top of the table, five points clear of second-placed Charlton Athletic.
Cemal Ramadan fired the Tractor Boys into a 15th-minute lead with a neat finish from 16 yards but Mitchell’s reply shortly before the break inspired a second-half R’s comeback.
The midfielder burst through the Ipswich backline before drilling his shot into the bottom corner with two minutes remaining in the first half.
Rangers were ahead five minutes after the re-start from the penalty spot after Skapetis was unfairly upended in the area.
Hubble dispatched the resulting spot-kick to continue his rich vein of form, adding his name to the scoresheet for the fourth game running.
The R’s hammered home their advantage by cementing victory with a third goal five minutes later. Ryan Young’s cross from the right reached Skapetis, who evaded his marker to fire into the top corner.
Victory for the R's was the perfect preparation ahead of Saturday’s visit from Colchester United, who lie ten points behind in third place.
