JUNIOR Hoilett has hailed team-mate Loic Remy following his goal in last weekend’s 2-1 win over Southampton.
The French international striker latched on to a through ball from Hoilett before thumping home the opener in our victory at St. Mary’s.
Rangers, of course, went on to claim all three points on the South Coast – and Hoilett hopes both he and Remy can continue to link well in the closing stages of the season.
“It was a great finish by Loic and it gave us a great boost going into the rest of the game,” he told www.qpr.co.uk.
“He has great movement and we’ve gelled together. We’ve been training together and hopefully we can build on that.”
The attacker – who has been in out and of the team for much of the season through injury – also praised the impact last Saturday’s result has had on the team ahead of the visit of Sunderland to Loftus Road at the weekend, adding: “It’s had a massive impact.
“It was a six-pointer that we needed to win to give us a boost going into the next set of fixtures, which are winnable. The team are together and we’ll fight for each other.
“On personal note, after being out for a while with a hamstring injury, to come back and get 90 minutes under your belt is great for confidence.
“It was a great win, especially away from home and for the fans that travelled down.
“It would be great to get back-to-back wins and it’s another massive game against Sunderland. Three points would give us great belief going into the final games."
