MARK Hughes has labelled QPR fans as ‘second to none’ ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday) West London derby against Chelsea in W12.
Loftus Road is a complete sell-out once again for the visit of Roberto Di Matteo’s men.
And Hughes hopes the R’s faithful can inspire his side to a first Premier League win of the campaign.
“It’s a big game for us,” Hughes told www.qpr.co.uk. “On their (Chelsea) day, they’re as good as anyone in the Premier League.
“The QPR fans are fantastic. Our home support is second to none. I expect them to get behind their team. Hopefully they’ll inspire us to give a performance.
“We’ve had two weeks where we’ve been able to put good work into the players. We expect a performance.
On the subject of team news ahead of tomorrow, Hughes added: “Apart from Samba Diakite, who returned to training at the start of this week, and Stephane Mbia, who came back from international duty with a slight injury, everyone is fine. Julio Cesar is fit and in the squad.
“I’ve got strength in every position. It’s up to me to make sure I get the right selection.
“That’s what I’ll try to do for every position.”
