Andrade on target in Wycombe win...

PORTUGESE striker Bruno Andrade scored the opening goal in Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 win against Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

The 19-year-old forward is currently on loan with Gareth Ainsworth’s Chairboys in npower League Two.

And his goal in the 11th minute at the Crown Ground helped the ex-Rangers midfielders’ side up to 17th place.

Elsewhere, fellow frontman Angelo Balata played the opening 61 minutes of Milton Keynes Dons 1-0 win at home to Hartlepool United.

The R’s youngster was replaced by Zeli Ismail during the second half of Saturday’s victory at stadium:mk.

DJ Campbell was unable to reproduce his goalscoring exploits of last week at Elland Road as Championship side Ipswich Town fell to a 2-0 defeat to Leeds United.

Rob Hulse was an unused substitute for Charlton Athletic in their 2-0 loss at Bolton Wanderers whilst Jay Bothroyd, on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, missed the Owls 1-0 victory at Barnsley with an ankle injury.

In League Two, Troy Hewitt played 81 minutes in Bury’s 1-0 defeat at Crewe Alexandra.

Finally, Joey Barton played all of Marseille’s 1-0 Ligue 1 win at Toulouse to continue level on points with Lyon & Paris St. Germain at the top of the table.
