ANTHONY Taylor will take charge of the R's upcoming match against Manchester United.
Saturday's Loftus Road encounter will be Taylor’s third outing in charge of Rangers this term.
Taylor previously took charge of December's 3-0 defeat against Liverpool and October's 1-0 defeat against Arsenal.
During that encounter against the Gunners, Rangers midfielder Stephane Mbia was sent off, allowing Arsene Wenger’s side to clinch a late winner.
Last season, Taylor took charge of our 3-0 away victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers, our second win of the 2011/12 campaign.
Taylor began his refereeing career in the Northern Premier League in 2002, before progressing further afield into the Conference North in 2004.
At the start of the 2006/07 season Taylor was promoted to The Football League list of referees.
It wasn't long before he ventured into the top-flight and made his first Premier League appointment in February 2010.
Despite only officiating in a handful of matches for the remainder of the season, Taylor made the Premier League's Select Group of Referees for the start of the 2010/11 campaign.
Taylor has also had a minor spell on the international circuit - a friendly between England Under-19s and Switzerland Under-19s in November 2006.
P Kirkup and G Beswick will be Taylor's assistants for the match in W12.
N Swarbrick, who took charge our recent meeting against Swansea City, will be the fourth official.
