Around the Ground: Birmingham has a set of passionate fans and therefore some of the pubs near the ground can be rather intimidating, so be aware if you choose to wear Rangers colours. The most recommended pub for away fans is the Cricketers Arms which is a friendly place for both sets of fans but won’t accept disorderly behavior. It’s also not the biggest of places but does have beer tables outside.

However the most recommended place to drink is in the city centre with the best way to reach the stadium being via a taxi which will cost around £6.  The Anchor Pub on Bradford Street, is renowned for its range of real ales on offer and has been named Birmingham 'CAMRA Pub of the Year' on more than one occasion.

If you’re a fan of real ale, then it’s essential you make a visit to the Wellington Pub on Bennetts Hill. With 16 real ales on tap, including 12 guest ales, it’s one of the best beer drinking experiences you can get in England. The Shakespeare pub is also popular with visiting supporters. Failing that there are numerous drinking options inside St Andrew’s as well as pies, burgers and hotdogs.
