R’S midfielder Frankie Sutherland has been handed a call-up for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad today.
The 19-year-old has been selected by Ireland U21 coach Noel King for their forthcoming International friendly against the Netherlands next month.
Eire host Holland at Tallaght Stadium, Dublin on Wednesday, 6th February (1pm).
Sutherland is currently on loan at npower League One side Portsmouth but is yet to make his debut for the Fratton Park outfit. Their match at Scunthorpe United last weekend postponed due to a frozen pitch.
