ANTHONY Taylor will take charge of the R's upcoming Barclays Premier League match against Arsenal on Saturday.
It will be Taylor’s first outing this term, and his first since QPR's 3-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2011.
During that Molineux encounter, 1,314 travelling R’s witnessed Joey Barton, Ale Faurlin and DJ Campbell on target to record Rangers’ second win of the season.
Taylor began his refereeing career in the Northern Premier League in 2002, before progressing further afield into the Conference North in 2004.
At the start of the 2006/07 season Taylor was promoted to The Football League list of referees.
It wasn't long before he ventured into the top-flight and made his first Premier League appointment in February 2010.
Despite only officiating in a handful of matches for the remainder of the season, Taylor made the Premier League's Select Group of Referees for the start of the 2010/11 campaign.
Taylor has also had a minor spell on the international circuit - a friendly between England Under-19s and Switzerland Under-19s in November 2006.
Mr J. Collin and Mr J.Brooks will be Taylor's assistants for the match against the Gunners.
Mr L. Mason will be the fourth official.
