MARK HUGHES has challenged his squad to bounce back against Norwich City on Saturday.
QPR succumbed to a disappointing opening day defeat to Swansea last weekend, but Hughes is adamant he’ll get a response at
Carrow Road.
“Our season starts now,” he told www.qpr.co.uk.
“We’ve worked exceptionally hard this week. We’ve had a good response.
“We disappointed ourselves and our fans last week.”
He added “Norwich will want to put a show on for their fans and will want a response (from their 5-0 defeat at Fulham).
“We need to forget what happened last weekend. We’ve got to really focus on the Norwich game and start our season now. We were caught in the traps against Swansea. We know we have to do significantly better.”
Hughes could recall Armand Traore and Bobby Zamora for the trip to
Carrow Road, with both players being passed fit.
However, the fixture will come too soon for Alejandro Faurlin and Kieron Dyer, who will feature in the Professional Development League match at home to Millwall on Friday night.
