QUEENS Park Rangers will break new ground for the visit of West Ham United to Loftus Road on Monday 1st October, becoming the first club to produce a perfect-bound 3D matchday programme.
The striking effect covers over 75 per-cent of the programme and the end result is an 84-page publication packed with eye-catching images to go with a whole host of interviews and news.
Only three other clubs have ever tried this state-of-the-art programme in the past with similar styled publications, but QPR become the first London-based Premier League club to do so, leaving other clubs trailing in their wake.
‘Hoops’ Editor Ian Taylor told www.qpr.co.uk: “Our new-look matchday programme has been tremendously well-received by the fans this season, but we wanted to try something different and forward-thinking and the result is a 3D programme of real substance and style.
“The publications team at QPR have worked around the clock in the last few weeks and alongside O-Publishing who have been first-class from a design perspective, we're really happy with the final product.”
R's front-man and former Hammer, Bobby Zamora, takes centre-stage in the must-read publication, answering your questions in our popular Q&A feature.
As well as exclusive columns with CEO Philip Beard, gaffer Mark Hughes and skipper Ji-Sung Park, the programme also features dozens of images, including an historical gallery from our 1-0 victory against the Hammers in 2004.
Priced at just £3, the programme - complete with special 3D glasses - will be on sale in and around the ground on Monday, as well as in the QPR Superstore.
