DEFENDER Michael Harriman has been placed on standby for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad today.
Harriman, currently on loan at npower League Two side Wycombe Wanderers, is in reserve for Ireland’s forthcoming International friendly against the Netherlands next month.
Eire host Holland at Tallaght Stadium, Dublin on Wednesday, 6th February (1pm).
Should any of the squad withdraw, then Harriman could be called upon by coach Noel King.
Harriman’s QPR teammate Frankie Sutherland has received a full call-up for the match.
