  • Elly Maggs' last-gasp winner gave Rangers victory at Lewes last weekend
QPR LADIES go looking for a third straight league win when they travel to Forest Green Rovers on Sunday (kick-off 2pm).

Martino Chevannes’ side moved up to ninth in the FA Women’s Premier League with a late 2-1 victory at Lewes last weekend.

Emma Plewa opened the scoring for the hosts before goals from Danielle Puddefoot and a stoppage-time strike from Elly Maggs gave the R’s a vital three points.

Meanwhile, Forest Green were beaten 1-0 by C&K Basildon to remain in 11th position, threatened with relegation.

Defeat was their eighth in succession in the FAWPL and 13th of the season. The Green Devils have, however, won twice this season – beating West Ham United on both occasions.

Rangers and Forest Green have met already this season with the R’s victors by 4 goals to 1 back in November. Strikes from Jo Wilson, Cherelle Albert and two from Maggs cancelled out Juana Garcia’s effort at Honeycroft.

Sunday’s game takes place at Slimbridge AFC, kick-off 2pm.
