CHARITY OF THE YEAR

Posted on: Wed 06 Dec 2006

Queens Park Rangers have adopted the Jack Tizzard School as their Charity of the Year.

On Saturday 4th November a number of pupils, parents and staff from the school were guests at a special football match at Loftus Road.

The Supporters Club raised a fantastic £862 to pay for the school team to have coaching sessions. They presented the cheque to Kate Deane, the school's P.E. Co-ordinator on the day of the Crystal Palace fixture.

At half-time the JT pupils participated in a penalty shoot-out against a rather unusual goalkeeper - Jude the Cat!

Well done to everyone who participated!
