The R's home fixture against Norwich City has been selected for live Sky Sports TV coverage.
The fixture, originally scheduled for Saturday 6th October, has now been switched to Monday 8th October 2007.
The match will kick-off at 7.45pm.
Rangers and Norwich shared six goals in a thrilling draw in W12 last season.
Darren Huckerby opened the scoring inside the opening five minutes, only for Jimmy Smith and Martin Rowlands to put the R's in front at the break.
Dion Dublin restored the balance 15 minutes from time and when Rob Earnshaw slotted home from the spot six minutes from time, all hope looked to have faded for the R's.
But Rangers responded in kind, with Rowlands bagging his second of the afternoon in the dying embers, to secure the R's a share of the spoils at the end of an enthralling contest.
