DEAL FOR NEILL

Posted on: Wed 27 Jun 2007

The Club are delighted to announce that Warren Neill will be staying on as Coach.

The 44 year-old, who spent eight successful years in W12 as a player, joined John Gregory's backroom team on a temporary basis towards the end of last season.

A former Rangers team-mate of Gregory and a lifelong fan of the Club, Neill was an apprentice at Loftus Road, before making 224 appearances for the R's between 1980 and 1988.

He played in the 1982 FA Cup Final against Tottenham and the Milk Cup Final against Oxford four years later.

Neill moved to Portsmouth and had a brief spell at Watford, before returning to QPR as a Coach after his playing career ended.
