Ray Jones joined QPR at the age of 15 and made excellent progress in the R's Centre of Excellence.

He went on to make his first team debut at the latter end of the 2005/06 season, entering the fray as a second half substitute against Watford on April 22nd.

A teenager with bags of potential, Jones ended speculation about his short term future when he signed his first professional contract last season.

Jones bagged six goals in his maiden season as a professional - including the last-gasp winner against the then league leaders Cardiff City at Ninian Park - and was also called up to the England Under-19 squad.
