YOUR TRIBUTES
What a waste of such a special young talent, a life taken away, a star taken, to shine brightly now in the sky.
R.I.P Ray Jones
The Hickey Family
As a QPR supporter from Sunderland who can only get the chance to travel to Loftus Road once or twice a season, my footballing memory of Ray was my jumping in celebration from my seat to celebrate his goal in the last minutes of the match against Northampton in the League Cup last year which we won 3-2.
This tragedy puts the game of football into perspective.
My heartfelt condolences to Ray's family

Emma, Wirral
Just wanted to add my condolences to Ray's family and all his friends and colleagues, as well as fans of QPR.
I'm not a QPR fan myself, having followed what was my "local" team (Liverpool) since childhood, but recognised Ray's talent and am very sorry to see a young life cut short.
A tragedy for all concerned.

Ray, you will be greatly missed. You were going to become a great striker, known to the world. This is a great loss to all who follow QPR and supported you to the top.
May you rest in peace and you will have a place in the hearts and minds of QPR for time to come. Much sympathy to the friends and family. The hearts of my family and I are with you at this sad time.
Anthony, Clapham.
RIP Ray
I would like to send my sincere sympathies, to the family, friends and fans of Ray Jones, also to the family and friends of the other victims of this tragedy.
