R's defender Michael Mancienne has been called up to the England Under-21 squad for the forthcoming European Championship qualifiers.

The Chelsea loanee has been named in a strong 24-man squad for fixtures against Bulgaria on November 16th and Portugal four days later.

Stuart Pearce's side are currently top of their qualifying group with four wins out of four.
