MARK OF RESPECT

Posted on: Wed 12 Dec 2007

QPR players will wear black armands at Turf Moor tonight, as a mark of respect to former team-mate Ray Jones, who tragically died in a motor accident earlier this year.

Jones' untimely death led to the postponement of the original Championship fixture between Burnley and QPR and at the request of skipper Adam Bolder and his team-mates, Rangers players will pay tribute to the talented teenager with a subtle black armband on their jerseys.

Ray Jones (1988-2007) A moment in our lives, A lifetime in our hearts.
