Patrick Agyemang has been called up by Ghana for their upcoming friendly against Tanzania (20th August), as well as World Cup qualifiers against Libya (5th September) and Lesotho (12th October).

The friendly fixture - to be played in Arusha, Tanzania - is sandwiched between QPR's Championship matches against Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers. 

Agyemang, who joined the R's from Preston in January and made a stunning impact with eight goals in six games, made his international debut against Nigeria in May 2003.

The striker is the third Rangers player to receive the call from his country this week, joining Damien Delaney (Republic of Ireland) and Kaspars Gorkss (Latvia).
