Iain Dowie's QPR have been drawn at home to Carlisle United in the Second Round of the Carling Cup.

Following their 3-2 victory at Swindon on Tuesday evening, the R's play host to the Blues, who overcame Shrewsbury 1-0 in the opening round thanks to a Peter Murphy goal.

It has been nearly 14 years since Rangers played Carlisle - ironically the fixture occurred in the same round of the same competition, back in 1994.

Played over two legs, the R's won 3-0 on aggregate, winning their home tie 2-0.
