Monday 25th August 2008 marks the one year anniversary of Ray Jones' untimely death and as such, the Club will be remembering him when we play host to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Almost a year on from the tragic death of the teenage starlet, the Club will be celebrating the life of the popular front-man next weekend with a series of glowing tributes.

'Hoops' - the Club's official matchday programme - will pay its own, unique tribute to the player who touched so many hearts with an A4 anniversary special publication.

The commemorative programme - which will be on sale for our Championship fixture against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday - is A4 in size and features 84 pages.

Our ever-popular 'Step Back In Time' history section will be dedicated in its entirety to Ray.

The editorial covers all of Ray's champagne moments, including that memorable evening against Cardiff City at Ninian Park in November 2006.

Player Coach Gareth Ainsworth also pays his own glowing tribute to Jones, while Club Captain Martin Rowlands also looks back at his former team-mate's career in his exclusive column.

Our commemorative issue also incorporates all our usual matchday programme features, including Iain Dowie's exclusive thoughts on the season so far.

Packed with exclusive interviews and new-look player features, this special edition souvenir programme will be available to purchase for £5, with 50p from each programme sale going to the 'Eastside Young Leaders Academy' - a charity chosen by Ray's mother, Larraine.

All remaining profits from programme sales on the day will go towards the R's Football In The Community projects.
