Mikele Leigertwood insists Rangers are determined to bounce back from last weekend's defeat at Bramall Lane, with victory against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

In an exclusive interview - which can be read in its entirety in Saturday's 'Hoops' A4 anniversary souvenir programme - the R's midfielder reveals his hurt at the R's 3-0 loss in the Steel City.

"From the moment we conceded our first goal it was an uphill task," he said.

"Of course it's disappointing. We planned all week long and within a couple of minutes we were behind.

"Goals change games and they came out the blocks really well and we did the complete opposite.

"We've only got ourselves to blame, but football being football, we've got the chance to put the wrongs of that display to right against Doncaster."

Leigertwood added: "Without any shadow of doubt, we need to bounce back.

"We let ourselves and our fans down on Saturday, so now is the time to respond."
