Damien Delaney has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The Rangers left back - who has two international caps to his name - will join up with Giovanni Trapattoni's squad on Tuesday, ahead of Eire's Group Eight fixtures against Georgia on Saturday 6th September and Montenegro four days later.
