Iain Dowie's QPR have been drawn away to Aston Villa in the Third Round of the Carling Cup.

Following their Emmanuel Ledesma-inspired 4-0 victory over Carlisle United at Loftus Road on Tuesday evening, the R's take on the Premiership outfit, who enter the competition at this stage owing to their involvement in the UEFA Cup.

The match will be played week commencing 22nd September.
