Queens Park Rangers Football Club is delighted to confirm the permanent signing of striker Heidar Helguson.
The 31 year-old Icelandic international has put pen to paper on a deal until the summer of 2011, after the R's agreed an undisclosed fee with Bolton Wanderers for his services.
Helguson joined Rangers on loan in late November and has since gone on to make seven appearances, netting three goals in the process.
Helguson said: "I have really enjoyed my loan spell here and I am happy that my future is sorted out.
"I believe we have a great opportunity to push on in the second half of the season and I am looking forward to playing my part in what promises to be an exciting future for this Club."
R's boss Paulo Sousa also expressed his delight at the news, commenting: "Heidar has proved to be a valuable addition to the squad in recent weeks and I am delighted we've managed to bring him here on a permanent deal.
"He is a proven goalscorer at this level and I'm sure QPR supporters will join me in welcoming him to our family."
