Wayne Routledge insists he's joined QPR with one thing in mind - to get back to the Premier League!
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk on the day he put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year deal at Loftus Road, the former Aston Villa ace pulled no punches when outlining his early goals and objectives with the R's.
"The Premier League is where we all want to be and my aim is to get there as soon as possible with QPR," he said.
"The potential here is massive. The owners have great ambitions and the Manager is a very forward-thinking person.
"He has a vision and as soon as he spoke to me about where he wants to take the Club, there was only one place I wanted to be."
Routledge, who could be in line to make his debut against Coventry City next weekend, added: "I know a few of the lads here and they can't speak highly enough of the ambition and aspirations of the Club and its owners.
"I can't wait to pull on a QPR shirt for the first time and show the fans what I've got to offer."
