R's front-man Patrick Agyemang has been ruled out of tomorrow's Championship fixture against Coventry City, after suffering a thigh injury in training on Wednesday.

Following scans and subsequent consolations with the Club surgeon, it has been decided that the 28 year-old will undergo exploratory surgery over the weekend.

Head Physio, Paul Hunter, told www.qpr.co.uk: "Pat is pencilled in for surgery on Saturday and we should have the results back soon after.

"At that stage we will know the prognosis of the injury and begin preparations for his rehabilitation."
