Martin Rowlands' goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday 6th December received the most votes in our Goal of 2008 competition.

This goal has now been put forward to represent QPR in the Mitre Goal of the Year category at the 2009 Football League Awards.

Rowlands' stunning strike earned the R's a 1-0 win over the table-toppers, in a match which was beamed out to a live audience of millions on Sky Sports.
