There's been no let up for the QPR First Team squad in Slovenia, as the hard graft of a pre-season campaign continues apace.

Following Wednesday night's 2-2 against NK Celje, attentions have now switched to Sunday's friendly against Croatian side NK Karlovac.

After a brief warm down session on Thursday, the R's were really back into the thick of things today (Friday).

The intensity in training this morning - in scorching conditions - really had to be seen to be believed, and the players will do it all over again tonight, with the second session due to get underway at 18.00pm local time.

Gareth Ainsworth is relishing the back-to-back sessions though, telling www.qpr.co.uk: "It's great out here.

"The sessions have been really gruelling, but the intensity of the work we're doing will really pay dividends at the start of the season."

He added: "The heat is an issue, but the lads have been flying and I'm really enjoying it."
