Hogan Ephraim has joined runaway League One leaders Leeds United on a one month loan deal.

The R's midfielder - who has been sidelined in recent weeks with an ankle injury - will remain with Simon Grayson's side until Friday 1st January 2010.

Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, R's boss Jim Magilton explained that the deal works well for both Clubs, commenting: "Hogan is still recovering from his ankle injury and an important part of his rehabilitation is getting games under his belt. Leeds will provide him with a platform to do that.

"We'll keep tabs on him during the month and when he returns he should be in peak condition to stake a claim here.

"It's a great deal for both parties."

Ephraim is ineligible to play in the FA Cup this weekend, but could be in line to make his Leeds debut against Oldham Athletic on Tuesday night.

The former West Ham ace can also play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
