EXCLUSIVE: R'S CLINCH BENT SIGNING

Posted on: Mon 01 Feb 2010

QPR have completed the loan signing of Birmingham City front-man Marcus Bent.

The 31 year-old striker has put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the 2009/10 season and is in line to make his Rangers debut against Peterborough United this weekend.

A veteran of 12 Clubs during his professional career, Bent spent time on loan at fellow Championship outfit Middlesbrough earlier this season, featuring eight times in all competitions.

His career goal record makes for pretty impressive reading, having netted 110 goals in 545 appearances in all competitions.

Bent will wear the number seven shirt vacated by Wayne Routledge's move to Newcastle United last week.
