Neil Warnock is preparing to put the 'icing on the cake' when it comes to his summer signings.
Rangers have already swooped for Paddy Kenny, Shaun Derry, Jamie Mackie and Leon Clarke this summer, but the R's gaffer is still targeting a few more fresh faces.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk this morning, Warnock revealed he has plenty of irons in the fire, but doesn't expect too many deals to happen this week.
"There's plenty of players we're interested in," he said.
"I'm confident we can get deals done, but not necessarily this week.
"It's been hard work this summer, but now we're looking to put the icing on the cake.
"I still want two or three forwards - that's the area I'm specifically targeting now.
"We need that extra fire-power in the final third if we're going to compete."
