Queens Park Rangers Football Club have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Norwegian international midfielder Petter Vaagan Moen from January 1st 2011.
The 26 year-old will put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal when his current contract with SK Brann expires tomorrow (Friday).
R's gaffer Neil Warnock believes Vaagan Moen, who will wear the number 23 shirt at Loftus Road, will add great quality, as well as versatility, to his table-topping squad, commenting: "He's a player I watched a lot of last season and I'm delighted we've been able to bring him to the Football Club.
"He's a left footed midfielder, who can play anywhere in the middle third of the pitch.
"He's got a fine goalscoring record for a midfield player. He's tenacious, an English type midfielder if you like, and he's fitted in really well since he's been training with us.
"He's got all the attributes to adapt to the English game and we just felt we needed another left footed player in the squad to give us that balance that you need at this level."
Vaagan Moen - who has made seven starts for his country, scoring one goal - will be eligible to feature for the R's once International Clearance has been received.
