HOLLOWAY IN HOSPITAL

Posted on: Mon 22 Nov 2004

Ian Holloway has been admitted to hospital after his stomach complaint worsened over the weekend.

The Rangers manager is currently undergoing tests with medical staff still unsure about the exact nature of his illness.

Yesterday he was severely dehydrated, has not eaten in four days and doctors are now hoping to establish whether Ollie is suffering from food poisoning or a viral infection.

He attended the game at Elland Road on Saturday but was seen by the Leeds United Club Doctor on more than one occasion.

In his absence, First Team coaches Gary Waddock, Gary Penrice and Tim Breacker are beginning preparations for this weekend's game against Cardiff City at Loftus Road.
