EVATT DEBUT
Central defender Ian Evatt makes his debut in a much changed Rangers side against Northampton in the Carling Cup this evening.
The former Chesterfield and Derby player makes his first start against another of his former clubs, four years and two days after scoring an own goal for Rangers in the Cobblers' colours at the same stage of this competition.
He has fully recovered from a thigh injury that kept him out of the first four games of the season.
Mauro Milanese and Ugo Ukah also make full debuts in a defence that is completed by Dominic Shimmin.
Meanwhile, Stefan Moore is a lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation that sees Marc Bircham and Marcus Bean in holding roles and Aaron Brown, Kevin Gallen and Adam Miller behind the former Villa frontman.
Marcus Bignot is a substitute whilst Paul Furlong, Gareth Ainsworth and Matthew Rose are rested.
Ex Rangers Lee Harper and Eric Sabin are on the bench for the Cobblers. Their starting eleven includes former Coventry and Aberdeen striker Eoin Jess and ex Aston Villa and Derby midfielder Ian Taylor.
