The money raised from the Football Aid event at Loftus Road last year was awarded to Help Hammer Cancer, a special appeal based at the state-of-the-art Cancer Unit at Hammersmith Hospital that raises funds to support cancer research in the fields of Gene Therapy & Breast Cancer. Football Aid's grant went towards protein gel running equipment to help analyse proteins from Breast Cancer cells.
