Romone Rose
The Under-18s completed their pre-season preparations with a convincing 4-1 victory against Woking Under-19s on Saturday.
Romone Rose bagged a brace and was joined on the scoresheet by Danny Maguire and a first ever goal at this level from 15 year-old striker Cyrus Sylvan-Vanterpool.
However, the final scoreline flattered Rangers somewhat, on a day when it took them a considerable time to stamp their authority on proceedings.
Indeed, the R's struggled in the first half, all too often over-complicating things in the final third.
Harry Smart's first time snap-shot flew narrowly wide, while the Woking keeper was on hand to make an easy save from Chris Arthur's long range shot.
Maguire and Rose did their best to raise the tempo, but yet again the Cards keeper came to the visitors' rescue.
Undeterred, Rangers continued to probe and when Arthur's cross was handled by a Woking defender, Maguire stepped up to convert the resultant spot-kick.

Chris Arthur shone for the Under-18s
Rangers upped their game after the break and Rose doubled their lead on 55 minutes when he slipped his marker in the box to fire home.
Arthur turned provider again moments later, crossing for Rose to head his second and Rangers' third goal of the contest.
Woking grabbed a consolation goal soon after, before Vanterpool scored Rangers' best goal of the game, rounding the keeper with ease before sliding the ball into an empty net.
Boss Joe Gallen reflected on the match in a positive mood, but knew that the real test would come this week, when the Under 18s travel to Brentford for their first League game of the season: "We were poor for most of the first half and this was down to too many of our players over-complicating things and not taking the easy option.
"Woking were older than us, and we must learn that these type of teams are never going to make it easy for you. Sometimes you have to do all the things you don't particularly like doing in order to gain an advantage in these situations, and it took us too long to do that on Saturday.
"Despite this, I was pleased in the second half, as we did all the things we spoke about at half-time and put things right.
"The real test comes next week against Brentford, they are always tough opposition, but I'm sure that if we can match up we'll be okay.''

Shane Annun in action
Gallen also took time to welcome 'new signing' Shane Annun to the Club, commenting: "I'd like to welcome our new youth team physio on board.
"Shane will assist with the treatment of the Apprentices during the week, and cover the Under 18 and schoolboy games at weekends.''
