Thumbs up for the Cup?
Loftus Road hasn't seen League Cup action since August 2004 and Gary Waddock wants a winning return.
The last time Shepherds Bush hosted a League Cup game, Rangers dispatched of Swansea 3-0 and the QPR manager would like to see a similar scoreline next Tuesday night when Northampton come to town.
The Rangers manager said: "Without a doubt it would be great to have a Cup run this year as that's something that has been lacking here for all too long.
"With more and more clubs in the Premiership fielding weakened sides in the League Cup now, it's up to clubs like us to capitalise on that and enjoy as much glory as we can and make as much money as we can.
"We know that these fixtures are notoriously quiet, but I'd love to see as many fans as possible here on Tuesday night.
"I appreciate we've got a game on Friday night as well, but we always need as much support as possible.
"As always, the League is our priority, but make no mistake, I will be out to win this on Tuesday night. I feel like I'm writing a Christmas list; I want to win Saturday at Preston, against Northampton on Tuesday and then against Ipswich on Friday.
"As a manager and a player, you can't switch off that competitive spirit, you want to win all the time and I think our fans will feel the same way."
