Paul Jones and Ryan Giggs
Paul Jones and the Welsh squad suffered a scare on the flight to Prague, but the R's number one told qpr.co.uk how laughter was the best medicine.
The aircraft taking the squad from Cardiff to Prague made an emergency landing in Bournemouth after the windscreen cracked.
The players and coaching staff were on their way to Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against the Czech Republic.
Jones told qpr.co.uk: "We were about 20,000 feet up and had only been in the air for about 20 minutes. We'd just started to level out when there was a huge jolt.
"We were thrown forwards and then back into our seats; it was as if the brakes had been slammed on in a car.
"The captain came over the speaker asking the Air Stewardesses to take to their seats so we all guessed there was something wrong.
"Then a few seconds later he explained that we had a problem, but not a major one. We then found out that there was a crack in the windscreen."
The Welsh team were then forced to make an emergency landing at Bournemouth where they changed planes to continue on their journey.
"On take off the second time round, everyone was understandably nervous and a bit on edge.
"Suddenly the cockpit door swung open and slammed into the wall. The huge 'bang' made everyone jump and there were a few terrified faces.
"I was sitting next to Ryan Giggs and he isn't the best flyer! But once everyone realised what the noise was we all laughed at ourselves and it helped to relax us."
