Tommy Doherty has this week returned to QPR after his loan deal with Wycombe Wanderers expired.

But due to picking up his third red card of the season, the midfield terrier will be banned from the R's next three Championship fixtures against Barnsley, Birmingham and Norwich.

The club are currently in discussions with Wycombe to discuss a possible return to the Buckinghamshire club.

Doherty signed for the R's on July 1 2005 and made 14 appearances for the Superhoops, before going on loan to Wanderers.
