Rangers completed the signing of no-nonsense midfielder Mikele Leigertwood on the final day of the 2007 summer transfer window.
The Sheffield United ace put pen to paper on a three-year deal, after the two Clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for his services.
Leigertwood went on to play a crucial role during his first season at Loftus Road, scoring a creditable five goals in 40 league appearances, and was a mainstay in the R's midfield last season too.
The no-nonsense midfielder made 46 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals.
