Danish front-man Marc Nygaard penned a new one year deal in July 2007.
The 30 year-old striker, whose contract expired at the end of June, agreed a new 12 month contract on the resumption of pre-season training.
Nygaard played an integral role in the R's run-in last season, scoring a valuable double against Leicester City, as well as providing the all-important assist for Dexter Blackstock's goal of the season strike against Preston North End.
Career
Rangers completed the signing of the Great Dane on a two year deal in the summer of 2005.
Nygaard - who has represented his country at international level - joined the R's from Italian side Brescia and has since made 52 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals.
