Matthew Connolly penned a three-and-a-half year deal with the R's in January 2008.
A product of the successful Arsenal academy, Connolly went on to make 21 appearances in all competitions for Rangers in his first six months at the Club.
Those displays led to a deserved call up to Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 squad and the versatile defender has excelled ever since.
Connolly made 39 appearances for the R's in the 2009/10 term, and was rightly named Supporters' Young Player of the Year.
