Ray Jones (1988-2007) R.I.P
A teenager with bags of potential, teenager Ray Jones ended speculation about his short term future when he signed his first professional contract last season.
Jones bagged six goals in his maiden season as a professional - including the last-gasp winner against the then league leaders Cardiff City - and was also called up to the England Under-19 squad.
Career
Intelligent with the ball at his feet, Jones is also more than capable in the air, as his assist for Nicky Ward's goal against Southend United on August 12th 2006 proved.
Jones made his R's debut at the latter end of the 2005/06 season.
