Rangers swooped to complete the loan signing of Jay Simpson just five days prior to the summer transfer window slamming shut.
The 20 year-old, who joined Arsenal at the tender age of nine, penned a season long loan deal in W12.
Simpson - who has represented England at Under-17 and Under-18 level - made history when he became the first ever player to score a hat-trick at The Emirates Stadium, for Arsenal's Under-18 side in a 3-2 FA Youth Cup win against Cardiff City.
