Undoubtedly one of the most technically-gifted players in the R's squad, 'Ali' Faurlin's fine defensive midfield partnership with Shaun Derry last term gave QPR a real platform on which to secure the npower Championship title.
Derry describes his team-mate as 'the best partner I have had. He has got everything. He has got all the attributes to be a top Premier League footballer.'
And few would argue.
At 24, Faurlin has a bright future ahead of him - and R's fans will be interested to see how the midfield man performs on the big stage this season.
If his contribution to the cause is anything like it was during the 2010/11 campaign, it promises to be one remember for Faurlin.
The Argentine playmaker made 41 appearances in total for QPR last season, scoring three goals - one of which included a spectacular strike in the R's 3-0 victory over Sheffield United at Loftus Road in April.
Faurlin joined Rangers from Instituto de Cordobaon three-year contract in the summer of 2009.
His impact was immediate, as Faurlin went on to win the Players' Player and Supporters' Player of the Year awards in his first full season at the Club.
