Rangers signed Ian Evatt on a three year deal from Chesterfield in the summer of 2005.
The no-nonsense defender put pen to paper in Majorca, after Bill Power and Gianni Paladini flew out to meet up with their man.
An undisclosed fee was agreed with the Spireites and Evatt is contracted with the club until 2008.
After falling out of favour with Ian Holloway, Evatt was instantly recalled to the squad under Gary Waddock, going on to make 27 appearances in season 2005/06.
However, as Waddock rung the changes, he was placed on the transfer list in April 2006 and eventually joined Blackpool on loan.
