The mainstay of Rangers' watertight defence last term, Neil Warnock dubbed the R's defender a 'hero' for his contribution to QPR's Championship-winning campaign.
Indeed, despite an ankle problem, the left-back played in all but two of Rangers' 46 npower Championship fixtures, with his no-nonsense style a major factor in Warnock's troops amassing 25 league clean sheets.
The tough-tackling stopper - who rose to prominence during a five-year spell at Tranmere Rovers, in which time he featured in the 2000 League Cup Final - joined QPR from Crystal Palace on a free transfer in July 2010.
The 32 year-old made a total of 127 appearances for the Eagles in a three-year spell at Selhurst Park.
After starting his career at Tranmere, Hill moved to Oldham Athletic in July 2002.
The defender would join Stoke City the following summer and, after a four-year spell at the Britannia Stadium, moved to Palace in November 2007 - initially on loan - before penning a permanent deal.
